Sign-up for 911 Service - Call Justin Wingert at (610) 377-6034 if you can attend.  Meet 9-11-08 at 6:45 in the Park by Amphitheater.

Due by Monday 9-8-08, PLC Meeting - sign-ups / money for:

- September 19-21 Campout at Camp Temike - $20.00.

- September 19-21 Backpackers Hike/Campout on Appl. Trail / Temike.

 

No Troop fee for the backpackers.  All backpacking dehydrated food/meals are to be provided by the Scout attending the event.  Backpackers must be prepared with a full backpack for the weekend.  These Scouts will be sleeping on the Appalachian Trail Friday night and Camp Temike on Saturday night.  The Hike will start at Leisure Lake.

 

To attend this event the Scout must have been on 2 - 10 mile hikes.

Due A.S.A.P. - Merit Badge Interest:                                                                                      

 

Due by Monday, 9-8-08 at the PLC Meeting - sign-ups of interest in any of the 3 Merit Badges.  Engineering / Architecture / Drafting.

 

These Merit Badges will involve two days from the Scouts to gather information / document info / get questions answered then proceeding to complete the merit badge with the counselor at a later date.

 

The Dates will be announced A.S.A.P. when we receive them.  There will be NO make up dates for these merit badges.  All those interested will receive a blue card before attending this event. This event will be in the next 4-6 weeks (Optional event).

 

We are in the process of getting counselors for these merit badges.  If none are found, this event will be cancelled.  A head count is needed at this time for Scout interest.

Troop Schedule, Popcorn Fundraiser, SSA slip, Note for the collection of peanut butter / tuna to help the pantry.

 

Please make a point to get this information if you have not gotten it already.

 

Note to parents:   All outings sign-up sheets are posted approximately one month before each outing.  Sign-ups / money for the outings are due two weeks prior to the event or as posted.

 

NO exceptions will be made to these deadlines.  If the money is not paid by the deadline date, the Scout can not attend the event.  Also Scout Parents must sign that it is OK for their son to go to that outing or we will classify him as not attending that event.  If the Scout decides he does not want to go the event, the money is NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

Also Please sign and return bottom portion of the outing permission slips.

Check if you want to use your SSA/Scout Service Account or paying cash / check.

 

Again a reminder to parents, please check the sign-up sheets weekly.

A signature is requested in front of the scouts name for our reference, that the parent has checked their schedule and is OK with their Scout attending this event.

 

NEEDED  A.S.A.P.:  2 Shoppers per outing

-October 17-19 Campout at Camp Temike

-November 14-16 Campout at Camp Trexler /Red Cedar
