Boy Scout Troop 82 was first chartered in June of 1937 by Scoutmaster Wilmer F. Held. Meetings were held in Trinity Lutheran Church.

The troop became active again as Scot Wingert became our Scoutmaster in February of 2004. Today we continue to meet at Trinity Church. Troop 82 belongs to North Valley District, Minsi Trails Council.

We now have our own camp site, Camp Temike, whose name is derived from the Lena Lenape Tribe meaning Come In.
